The Vasa,
raised from the depths after sinking on its maiden voyage 300 years ago.
The then king designed it. Even though the builders knew it was
unseaworthy, they wanted to keep their heads so they built it according to
the king's wishes. As the boat left the dock, a gust of wind came up
and heeled the boat over, causing water to rush in the gun ports.
Sank like a stone, 20 meters from the dock. Has to be the shortest
maiden trip ever for a sailing boat.
