Really, we actually were pretty nice kids when we were young!!!
There were, of course, some nefarious tales of our childish high jinks, 
but most kids do that sort of thing. Fortunately for us kids,
our parent's genes insured that we inherited a sizeable intellect
 and had instilled in us a drive to always succeed in anything we attempted in life.
To fail was just not coneivable and certainly unacceptable
